'It consists of three plates, and a number of cakes of different sizes which can slide onto any plate. The puzzle starts with the cakes in a neat stack in ascending order of size on one plate, the smallest at the top.The objective of the puzzle is to move the entire stack to another plate in minimum steps, obeying the following simple rules:
*Only one cake may be moved at a time.
*Each move consists of taking the upper cake from one of the stacks and placing it on top of another stack.
*No cake may be placed on top of a smaller cake.'
