Disney's Wizards Java Game
The Great Crown which has been shattered is to be reformed again. The team which wins the Great Tournament of Magic will acquire all the powerful crystals needed to reform the Crown. The Wizards of Mickey team, composed of diamagic beginners Mickey, Donald and Goofy, enters the tournament. Meanwhile, Mickey's teacher of magic, Nereus, has been captured and imprisoned by his rival, the evil Phantom Blot. Phantom Blot wants to reform the Great Crown himself so he can rule the world. So, between jousts, the wizards of Mickey must find a way to free Mickey's master. Disney's Wizards is a simple turn-based strategy game. The red bar on the top of the screen represents the character's confidence or what the game said so. When the character is hit by an enemy spell or their own spell is deflected by a counterspell the character's confidence is decreased. When confidence drops to 0, the character escapes from the battle. If all team members escape from the battle, the game ends. There is another blue bar right below represents the character's amount of magical energy (mana). Each spell requires a certain amount of mana to be successfully cast. Amount of mana is decreased by each cast spell, when there is less mana than needed for a spell, the spell can't be cast. Mana can be recharged by choosing 'wait' command option instead of casting a spell. the little icons follow by the magic bar is the special bonuses the characters can have. It means that a corresponding spell does more damage or cost less mana when cast by the character. More regarding the icons effect and controls can be found in game menu. The first mission act as an tutorial, so you should be able to learn the gameplay without reading the instructions. |
